Eagle Transmission

Easily the best experience I’ve had at a transmission shop. Scott was great to work with. Kind, knowledgeable and was willing to work with me on selling the vehicle when I decided not to move forward. Fair and honest quote to fix the vehicle, no pressure, no gimmicks. Would recommend, good business.

We took my husband's truck in for Eagle to look into why his truck was not shifting into 4-wheel drive during the recent snow event. Scott Carter was the one that took the truck in, and it was a very positive experience. Scott went above and beyond to fix the problem even when more issues arose, he went the extra mile to make sure get the necessary repairs done with quality parts and labor. We are very happy with our experience here! Thank you Scott!

If you need transmission work done, go to Eagle Transmission in Plano on Coit Rd and ask for Scott! Scott, the front manager, went above and beyond to help me. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my car in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. He was completely upfront and honest about everything—no pressure, no runaround, just straight answers. The pricing was more than reasonable, and they got the repair done quickly. Now my car is running perfectly again! It’s rare to find a shop where you feel like you’re truly being taken care of, but that’s exactly how I felt here. Scott’s knowledge, honesty, and the accuracy of their diagnosis have definitely earned my trust. From now on, this is the only place I’ll go for transmission work. Highly recommend

While in Texas for Thanksgiving, my trucks wheel bearing went bad so I brought my Tacoma in to Eagle Transmission to have the wheel bearing replaced. I went to 4 different shops to diagnose the issue and chose Eagle Transmission on Coit due to their reviews. Unfortunately my go-to and favorite place in Plano, Spring Creek Automotive, wasn't capable of replacing the bearing. It was Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Thursday Eagle was closed and Friday was a short day so there wouldn't be any chance the work could be done until Monday. Scott, of Eagle Transmission said it would be a 1 day job and quoted me $550 for parts and labor. So, I filled the paperwork out on Wednesday, and returned to drop the Tacoma off on Monday. On Tuesday, the next day, I recieved a call saying that the technicians had to destroy the rear brake drum to remove it from the axel, and also mentioned the technician broke one of the studs that hold the backing plate to the axel. 4 days later they called and told me it was ready to pick up. When I returned to pick up my truck, the total was now $800. I pleaded with them until I was able to leave with my truck and paying only $600, which was all the cash I had with

I had the pleasure to take my truck for transmission service here. Absolute gem of a service shop. Scott is the manager and my technician was Sebastian. Honest and hardworking people. The attention to detail was clear. They didn't let me leave until I was satisfied. Avoid the dealer and bring your vehicle here for expert service. I highly recommend this place!!!
